Kota Bridge or Jambatan Kota is the first double-decked bridge in Malaysia. It is located in Klang, Selangor. The bridge is closed to traffic in the '90s due to high capacity. The new Kota Bridge is located beside of the old bridge.
It is constructed between 1958 and 1960. The bridge was officially opened in 1961 by the late Sultan of Selangor, Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah in conjunction with his coronation as the ninth Sultan of Selangor.
The bottom deck is a pedestrian walkway bridge while the top deck is a motorist bridge.
